Safety Can is made of heavy-duty, high grade coated steel and is designed to store oil. Safety can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester which dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition. It has self-venting, self-closing leak proof lid that provides security from spills and leaks and unique counterbalance, ergonomic design with full-fisted grip handle provides gravity-assisted pouring. To protect against rupture or explosion, positive pressure relief mechanism automatically vents between 3 and 5 psig. It has trigger release handle and features special reinforcing ribs to strengthen sidewalls for extra "bumper guard" protection. Can comes with tough powder paint finish and meets OSHA, NFPA and is certified by FM, UL/ULC listed.
